Double Stars Card

Astronomy greeting card illustrating ‘double stars’. Printed in England on an uncoated, light cream 300gsm Italian paper, which is recyclable, biodegradable and FSC certified. Adapted from Camille Flammarion’s classic The Marvels of the Heavens (1870). While double stars often occur as binary pairs (two stars bound in gravitational orbit with one another) they can also form optical doubles, whereby two stars at great distance from one another align by chance in the line of sight of the observer. All our greeting cards are 170mm x 120mm (approx. 5” x 7”) and blank inside, individually wrapped in a compostable wrapper made from plants, with a 100% recycled, 110gsm kraft envelope.
